If i was to say

If I was to say how I embody what I do, I would say, I am “the gardener and the garden” realising the beauty there is.

If I was to say, the life-flow of what I do, I would say I co-facilitate with my friends and understand facilitation from the arabic root verb of facilitation: sa-ha-la which suffuses into being the word “sahl”, meaning the plain; the between expanse where water confluences to reach itself and by doing so infuses life and inspires flourishing gratitude.

If I was to say what i am learning with all our partners-in-flourishing, I would talk about navigating towards the direction of “a humanising society”, the navigation itself being a manifestation of “a humanising society”. A society where our schools, organisations, systems and communities are the reflection of the humanity that defines us and connects us beyond our conscious grasp; to ourselves, to each other and to our natural world.

In this odyssey Love blows the wind that fills our Love-woven sails.

We realise in this flow-field of enquiry, learning and understanding, trusting our humanity, realising the existentiality of love, the beauty of being the “gardener and the garden” of our being and becoming.

If I was to say what I am hearing, I would whisper this school whisper; “With Tamkeen we have found the chemical formula of something magical, we have humanised our school”.

In the mirror of Tamkeen, the school became our mirror.
